Service your old vacuum cleaner!

Service your old vacuum cleaner!

When you invest in a high-quality vacuum cleaner, you expect it to perform for several years. In order to extend the life of your vacuum cleaner it is highly recommended that you get it professionally serviced every 5 years. Nowadays you might ask, who sells vacuum cleaners that even last 5 years? Most vacuum cleaners don’t make it past a few years before breaking or getting clogged up. Here at Aerus we have a long standing history in the quality of vacuums that we sell.

Originally established in 1924 as Electrolux USA, we began our journey into Healthy Home Products with the first tank vacuum model, introduced by Gustaf Sahlin. This tank (also known as a canister) design became an overnight sensation and remains a standard of excellence for floor care products.

The popular Electrolux vacuum cleaner, Model XXX, was created in 1937 and after selling nearly 14 million units, was retired in 1954 and later recognized by the Smithsonian Institute as a top 100 U.S. product.

In 2000, we changed our name and transitioned from our floor care roots with Electrolux to offer a full line of innovative Healthy Home Products (including air and water purification systems) as Aerus LLC.

  •  Vacuum brushes with end of hose handle after use.
  • Wipe tools occasionally with damp cloth or sponge
    and mild detergent.
  • Change bags and/or filters when the
System Indicator on the canister notifies you.
  • Periodically check revolving brushes for build-up
of lint, hair, or other foreign material and remove
    as necessary.
  • Store cleaner in dry area – never outdoors.
  • Have cleaner checked periodically by an
    authorized service facility.

  1. I have a two year old Lux and I like it. I would like to find a new floor brush for my old Olympic model and a new hose so I could use it also. Are attachments available to buy?
